It is easy to customise your own side drive. This is how the flipping arms or the Dumbo version were created in response to customer demand (two additional curves on the housing resemble elephant ears and allow the attachment of up to 4 reaction arms).

The torque wrench and side drive can be transported separately; support arms can be exchanged independently.

With the help of the Quick-Connect system developed by JUWEL, the PHE service tool can be inserted and secured in a matter of seconds. By turning the locking lever 90 degrees, the torque wrench can be released again and disconnected from the side drive.

The outrigger arms can be replaced independently – e.g. if longer or shorter arms are needed.

The torque is generated by means of transmissions in the planetary gear of the torque multiplier – not in the side drive:

This results in minimal wear – the multistage planetary gear builds up the torques of up to 5,000 Nm in a manner that is gentle on the gear. The design of the tooth flanks within the side drive ensures a long-term and safe 1:1 transmission of the torques.

The torque wrench can be tested and calibrated separately. This means that we can guarantee the real torque values present and thus do without theoretically calculated values!

The side drive, the support arms and all other components are milled from a solid block – we do not use any cast parts!

Cracks, forced fractures and fatigue fractures due to shrinkage cavities in cast parts are not part of our vocabulary. All components are milled from a solid block – even the reaction arms. It is not possible to achieve better quality and workmanship.ââ
